So we now have confirmation that another agency has opened in H-Town (see 5 plus 8 post from earlier) thanks to David Law who, based on his Twitter account, is a writer there.
CHI and Partners, an agency out of London and New York has opened a new Houston office located at the Tribeca Lofts in Montrose. It's got 8 people so far and works with Direct Energy.
I can't think of any other NY agencies other than JWT that has an office in Houston. I guess Richards Group merging with R/C is kind of close but that's Dallas.

We had heard that there are a couple of new agencies that have opened in Houston. Here's one (the other we're still waiting to get some confirmation).

Started by Jeff Long and Adam Faust, both art directors who worked together previously at Love Advertising and Adcetera, have started an agency that according to their Facebook page is "A creative agency that partners with clients to create honest, smart work."
No word on what clients they work with or where their office is located. Hope they will share some new work and keep us updated as they grow.
